THIS YEAR’S THEME

Living in a Psychologized Culture

Our culture is inundated with psychological diagnoses, psychotropic medications, and mental illness labels. All of us have friends and family members who have suffered in this area. In the midst of our psychologized culture, God’s Word has the answers we need! Join us for a day of training centered around living in, and caring for, a psychologized culture. We will consider such topics as medicine, personal accountability, relationships, boundaries, sin, self-esteem, and trauma.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

DR. ANDREW ROGERS

Andrew and Jenny Rogers have served with Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide (BCMW) since 2013 but in the fall of 2019, Andrew took over as the Executive Director, overseeing the growth of BCMW and traveling around the world to teach and train elders, pastors, and other church ministry leaders in biblical counseling and discipleship ministry.

Andrew and his wife, Jenny, are both from the Central Valley but have lived in various places across the U.S. They are planning to relocate soon to the Bay area. The Rogers have four children: their eldest son, Zach, is married to Kendra and lives on the East Coast. Their younger son, Hayden, is married to Molly, and they have one son, Dean. Both of their daughters, Kailey and Paige are students a Boyce College in Louisville, KY.

DR. ADAM TYSON

Pastor Adam is from the great state of Georgia. After attending medical school, he became a physician's assistant and worked in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in Savannah for four years. While serving in his local church, he felt an overwhelming desire to pursue the glory of God through theological training and the opportunity to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. Adam had the privilege of attending The Master's Seminary for both an M.Div. (2005) and D.Min. (2013). He served as an associate pastor of student ministries and outreach at a church in Texas for seven and a half years. He has a passion for expository preaching, biblical counseling, world-wide missions, and reaching the community of Santa Clarita with the gospel! Adam also serves as an adjunct professor in the Biblical Counseling Department at The Master’s University. He and his lovely wife, Lisa, have been blessed with five children: Anna, Nate, Micaiah, Hudson, and Zoe.
